Project objective
Research objectives and content The project aims at the study of variational problems in geometrical setting, in particular problems defined on bundles of various kind. Important instances of these problems occour both in theoretical physics (Ginzburg-Landau and Skyrme lagrangians) and in low-dimensional topology (Yang-Mills and Seiberg-Witten functional). Training content (objective,benefit and expected impact) I wish to improve my training, by adding to those skills in Geometric measure theory I acquired in my previous research work, some know-how on topological methods for existence and regularity of solutions of PDEs defined on geometric settings.
