Project objective

Research objectives and content Applications of ring closing metathesis methodologies for the synthesis of important moisture macrocycles. The Prof. Dr. Furstner's group has the experience in Olefin Methatesis chemistry, as well as in organometallic chemistry to use a good tool for the development of this project. Training content (objective, benefit and expected impact) My research will involve catalytic organometallic chemistry, as an useful tool to the synthesis of medium and macrocyclic compounds with industrial or pharmacological activities, adquiring a good formation in the area of catalytic synthetic chemistry. Therefore, this can have an important impact in my potential future in research in Spain. Links with industry / industrial relevance (22)
