Project objective

To develop new methods for the preparation of cumulene-type molecules that are expected to have implications as unsaturated building-blocks in organic synthesis. The synthetic approach to such molecules will involve ruthenium promoted catalytic homogeneous hydrogenation of polyalkynes.
