Project objective
Theoretical studies on: (i) the magnetic interaction in novel polynuclear compounds containing 3d-5d mixed metal ions and (ii) molecular and co- operative aspects of the spin transition phenomenon. Numerical simulations of the magnetic properties concerning molecular-based magnets and high-spin clusters with local quantum spin moments (S<2).
