AGB stars as tracers of stellar populations

Project objective

AGB stars (low mass stars between 0.1 and 10 GYr old) are among the brightest populations of galaxies. Their variability combined with near-IR photometry gives insights in the stellar properties and in the contribution to its mother galaxy.
