Project objective

The Biomedical Area of CRS4 seeks researchers to apply for a Marie Curie Development Fellowship" in the "Human Potential Work Program' of the EU DG XII. AREAS OF EXPERTISE: Statistical analysis of large data set produced by high volume DNA arrays QUALIFICATIONS PhD Computer Science. Up to 2 year's experience in: -high volume data analysis systems; -computer programming (C++, Perl, Java, & possibly parallel programming) . Knowledge of biotechnology is advantageous. HOST INSlTUTION CRS4 Cagliari, Italy - an interdisciplinary applied research center a stimulating environment with over 80 researchers working on projects including simulation, numerical modeling, scientific visualization & IT. It has excellent facilities: parallel computers, many PCs workstations, interaction devices, state-of-the-art communications & video laboratory.
