Project objective
The seven teams are naturally divided into three groups, depending on their complementary expertise and available instrumentation. Extensive intra- and inter-exchange between teams and groups will allow training within:- Advanced inorganic synthesis- Glove box and Schlenk techniques- Vibrational spectroscopy- Crystallography- Multielement NMR spectroscopy- X-ray scattering and EXAFS of liquid, amorphous and crystalline materials- Various electron microscopic techniques- Moessbauer, NQR and ESR spectroscopy- Magnetic and electric conductivity measurements- Quantum chemical and statistical mechanical calculations- Social and linguistic versatility
