Project objective

I will investigate the genetic and structural basis of the change into an amoeba that occurs when trichomonas vaginalis invades the vagina using subtractive hybridization technology and detailed microscopic examination. Computer analyses will be used to infer functions for up-regulated proteins and to identify their evolutionary origins.
