Project objective

This project aims at analysis high-resolution side scan sonar imagery recently acquired in the SW Iberian Margin (EU-funded HITS project). This analysis will consist in the systematic assessment of acoustic textures and derivation of seabed geophysical parameters. This will lead to a better understanding of geo-hazard potential of deep-sea areas.
