Project objective

Electron polarisation analysis of magnetic films in UHV allows the surface magnetisation, interface polarisation and spin transmission through over layers to be probed in site. The interface magnetism will be investigated in ultra thin films, and spin valve structures using a micro-Mott spin detector in an MBE growth chambers.
