Project objective
The project will focus on the development of an Affective Socially Intelligent Agent (ASIA) that can adapt to the user's emotions during human-computer interaction, depending upon the particular contextual application.The goals of the research are to establish modes of interaction that enable an agent to be socially responsible to the needs and preferences of its users, in terms of socio-emotional content (e.g. during tutoring sessions, during telemedicine interaction).
