Цел на проекта
The European Union has been challenged to contribute to the global aim of providing sustainable solutions to the current and future needs on synthetic compounds and materials in the coming years. The development of sustainable chemical processes is a cornerstone of modern chemistry, emerging as a critical global research focus. By optimizing the use of natural resources and reducing waste and environmental impact, sustainable chemistry addresses pressing societal needs and contributes valuable solutions. In this sense, electrochemistry has been reborn as a very powerful synthetic tool, which allows organic transformations to be carried out using simple electrons as the driving force of these transformations, and it is beginning to play a significant role in both academic and industrial settings. It is therefore necessary to establish strong networking among European research centers and industries focused on the application of electrochemistry in organic synthesis. The EI program aims to create a multidisciplinary training program in which, the students will acquire a deep knowledge of electrochemistry applied to organic synthesis, in addition to highly valued industrial skills, and the establishment of a strong networking in the area. This strong networking will promote the appearance of new research lines and the creation of a highly qualified research training program for PhD students, ultimately positioning Europe as a leader in a hot research field as electrochemistry.
