Цел на проекта
For over a decade, the European Researchers’ Night in Bosnia and Herzegovina (RiNG.ba) has proven that science is not distant, it lives among us, connecting generations, Europe, and the Western Balkans. RiNG.ba 2026–2027 continues this mission, bringing science closer to citizens through universities, museums, schools, civil society, businesses, and local authorities. Rooted in Open Science, curiosity, and trust, the project strengthens the link between research, education, entrepreneurship, creativity, and skills development, turning curiosity into competence and competence into competitiveness.By fostering scientific literacy, critical thinking, and lifelong learning, RiNG.ba supports the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 and the BiH Growth Plan 2024-2027, transforming their priorities, inclusion, education, innovation, and competitiveness into tangible public action. Under the message “Science Between Us,” RiNG.ba will engage citizens in 12 cities through the Night events, Researchers at Schools, and regional cooperation initiatives, turning visibility into trust and collaboration into a shared, sustainable future for science in Bosnia and Herzegovina.Characterised by a human-centric approach, RiNG.ba enables direct interaction between researchers and citizens, inspiring curiosity across generations while promoting skills that underpin Europe’s competitiveness. Acting as a neutral, inclusive platform uniting researchers across Bosnia and the Western Balkans, RiNG.ba demonstrates that science is not a closed discipline but an open, shared, and human endeavour that connects us all.
