Цел на проекта

The project proposes a breakthrough approach to science mediation by merging research communication with live and street performance arts. Its main objective is to bring science directly into public spaces, transforming the street into a shared laboratory and open stage where citizens, artists, and researchers meet on equal ground. By combining creativity, emotion, and scientific rigor, the initiative aims to restore trust between science and society, awaken curiosity for research among young audiences, and foster informed dialogue on Europe’s scientific priorities such as climate change, smart cities, and health. The project unfolds through five interconnected work packages that ensure coherence between creativity, education, and evaluation: mapping publics and actors (Awareness Campaign); organizing two large European Researchers’ Nights as a street theater festival of science; pairing artists and scientists to co-create classroom workshops under Researchers @ School programme; using participatory tools such as a “vote-as-you-can” model from street festivals to assess engagement directly on stage; and ensuring national scalability and European dissemination through dedicates workshops. Aligned with the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions & Citizens objectives, the project nurtures researchers’ communication and creative skills, promotes originality, inclusiveness, gender equality, and open science, and enhances the visibility of European research as a democratic, emotional, and cultural experience shared by all citizens. By bringing science to the street and imagination into science, it redefines how research can inspire, educate, and unite Europe’s diverse societies.
