Цел на проекта
OUR SCIENCE – European Researchers’ Night in Iceland 2026–2027 aims to strengthen public recognition of researchers, build trust in science, and inspire young people to explore research careers. The project will connect citizens and researchers through creative, inclusive, and interdisciplinary activities held across Iceland, culminating in large European Researchers’ Night events each September that celebrate science as a shared cultural experience, making science a shared journey for all.Through pre- and post-event formats such as Science Cafés, Science Cocoa, Science Slams, and Science Improv, participants of all ages will also meet researchers face to face, experience research hands-on, and see how collaboration across disciplines drives innovation. The Researchers at School programme, Operated by the University of Iceland's Inspiring the Future initiative, brings science directly into the classrooms around Iceland. Coordinated by RANNÍS, Iceland’s one-stop shop for European research and innovation, the project will showcase Horizon Europe and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, highlighting shared European values and cooperation in science.
