Цел на проекта
Addressing the growing need for innovations in medicine requires a multidisciplinary approach, integrating artificial intelligence and computational research into biomedicine to harness the power of data-driven science to improve health and quality of life by transforming vast biomedical and clinical data into actionable knowledge for patients and healthcare systems.The NAVIGATE programme will recruit five outstanding postdoctoral researchers to conduct original research at the intersection of translational medicine and computational biology at the IDIBAPS research institute, uniquely located at Campus Clínic, Barcelona. Joining efforts with the University of Barcelona and the Hospital Clínic, IDIBAPS offers an exceptional environment for cutting-edge translational research to advance prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the most common diseases in our society. Selected through an open, merit-based international competitive call, the researchers will benefit from excellent working conditions including an attractive salary, high-quality supervision, mobility and importantly, diverse long-term career development opportunities in a vibrant research ecosystem.NAVIGATE will uphold the highest standards of scientific integrity and social responsibility, following the principles of the European Charter and Code for Researchers and the MSCA guidelines on supervision. The programme has partnered with 16 Associated Partners, including leading European research centers in biomedical sciences and computing and industrial partners, and SMEs to provide further training, supervision and secondment opportunities. By the end of the programme, researchers will have the scientific experience and transferrable skills needed to consolidate their careers at the forefront of medicine and science. Overall, NAVIGATE will enhance the attractiveness of research careers in Europe and help shift the current trend of brain drain in the research and innovation sector into genuine brain gain.
