Цел на проекта
With the urgent need for decarbonisation, many alternative fuels are being considered. Hydrogen has emerged as one of the most sustainable and clean fuels that can replace conventional fossil counterparts across industry and mobility sectors. However, systems and technologies in the present state lack maturity and require innovation. Hy-DETAILS (HyDrogen genEration, Transportation, And utILisation ecoSystem) is designed to perform research, innovation, and training of 15 Doctoral Candidates (DCs) who will become ""Green Hydrogen Architects"" to lead different sections of the hydrogen value chain, including generation, transportation, utilisation, economy and market. The Hy-DETAILS project involves academics and non-academic experts from 24 institutions working together to develop novel methodologies, models, algorithms, systems, and technologies for use within the integrated hydrogen ecosystems. Such an ecosystem integrates hydrogen production, distribution, consumption and technological development to promote and improve green hydrogen energy systems. The research and training span across multiple commercial sectors, including energy systems and markets, transportation, process industries, aviation, residential and mobility, therefore addressing Europe's pressing needs for energy transition solutions and fostering the technological readiness of hydrogen systems. By training a highly skilled workforce, Hy-DETAILS will not only support Europe’s green energy targets but also enhance the continent's leadership in hydrogen technology innovation and its integration into industry and energy infrastructures. Moreover, Hy-DETAILS will contribute to the ongoing success story of the European Union by nurturing a new generation of innovators capable of driving forward the hydrogen revolution and ensuring that Europe remains at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions.""
