Цел на проекта
Biological gas treatment has been used since the 20's and has been applied more actively in Germany and The Netherlands since the middle of the 70's. However, engineering concepts and reactor design still need to be improved to reach optimal efficiency and, on the other hand, this cleaning technology is not developed in southern Europe. The aim of the present proposal is the study and the development of a reactor design for biological gas treatment, based on previous researches made by the applicant. The chemical engineering expertise of the host institution and the background of the applicant in terms of biological gas treatment, will create a synergy which will promote the applicants training, the transfer of technology and which will lead to an improved bioreactor design for waste gas treatment.
