Цел на проекта
Research objectives and content 1. Research objective and context Because of the deficiency of market structures, the importance of climatic seasonality but also because of the low living standards, many behavioural, human resources and living standards phenomena cannot be separated in developing countries. The modeling of the composite behaviour of households developing countries implies complications both in the economic optimisation program and in the econometric specification. I first study the theoretical properties of non standard and nonseparable models, and advanced estimation methods adapted to these models. Then, I estimate models describing interactions for poor peasants in several countries in Africa. Finally, I carry out welfare analysis for these households. The expected results are: - A clarification of the theoretical properties of composite behavior models and development of new statistical analysis methods. - The estimation of interactions between the economic behavior and the human resources status, for the households of Rwanda. - The derivation of applied welfare analysis and development policy conclusions.
