Цел на проекта

Objective: to provide young researchers with methods and techniques to face real problems arising from European railway systems by an interdisciplinary training in the area of computer science, mathematics and traffic engineering. Individual training: based on exchanges of young pre- and post-doctoral researchers. The pre-existing collaborations among teams will allow a fast and productive start of exchanges. Young researchers carry out individual activities under the supervision of a senior researcher. When required, they will receive a specific training on software instruments and development tools and will be partially involved in the organization of the main events as well as in project management. Interaction with industries will be managed under the existing national contact points. Common training: based on Network Meetings (NM) and Training Institutes (TI). A NM is a small conference with general talks, talks on special subjects, and strategy discussions. A TI consists of a school and a workshop. The school consists of lectures on open problems and tutorials. It will initiate joint research projects of young and senior researchers within a specific topic. The workshop is devoted to discussions and joint research.
