Цел на проекта

The training programme in ATREUS will focus on integration through participation of the young visiting researchers in the scientific work performed by the networking teams, aiming at enriching their scientific and organization skills. High-level training in numerical modeling tools and field and laboratory techniques will be involved. The visiting researchers will gain more insight in the complex mechanisms taking place in the exchange processes between higher and lower atmosphere as well as between buildings and their microenvironment. In particular, training will include gaining experience in Numerical Weather Prediction modeling, Computational Fluid Dynamics and modeling of the urban atmosphere at micro and urban scales, assessing the energy behavior of buildings with relevance to rational energy use in cities, wind-tunnel and field instrumentation and experimental methods. Their participation at meetings and international conferences will be of major priority.
