Цел на проекта
The Institute of Mass Spectrometry at the University of Warwick offers Marie Curie Training Fellowships within the EU 5th Framework Programme. The Fellowships are available for up to 12 months. The Institute of Mass Spectrometry of Warwick has a world known expertise in all mass spectrometry related fields. Our research facilities include the UK national facility 9.4 Tesla FT-ICR mass spectrometer as well as other 12 state-of-the-art commercial and homemade instruments. The Fellow will also have access to other facilities in the Chemistry Department. The training will aim to provide a sound instrumental basis for the mass spectrometric study of biological systems. Preference will be given to longer (12 months) stays that will allow not only access to the instrumentation but also full mastering of the instrumentation. Mass Spectrometry taught courses will also be offered. Other training possibilities include nuclear magnetic resonance, circular dichroism, computational chemistry, molecular beams and use of lasers. Fellowships are available from October 2001. Applicants should have a degree in Chemistry, Biology or in a related field. The applicants must be EU nationals (except UK) pursuing PhD studies in a European country. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their qualifications, enthusiasm and personality.
