Archaeological Biogeochemical Approaches for Reconstructing Population Mobility, Resources and Diet The Department of Archaeological Sciences of the University of Bradford (UK) wish to appoint Marie Curie Fellows for advanced training in Archaeological Biogeochemistry. Applicants should be studying for a doctorate in an approved institution in either Archaeology, and seek to enhance their knowledge in this area of science to improve their dissertation research, or in the Natural Sciences, particularly isotope chemistry, and seek applications for new developments. Fellows will design a training programme, which will include individual guidance as well as taught courses. The internationally recognized Department of Archaeological Sciences has achieved excellence in research (Grade SA in the 1996 RAE) and in teaching (22/24 in the QAA in 2000). Current areas of research include Archaeological Biogeochemistry, Biological Anthropology and Bioarchaeology, Material Culture, and Social Dynamics. The international group of scholars in the Archaeological Biogeochemistry have much experience working with non-UK students with diverse research backgrounds.
