Цел на проекта

Fellowships are offered on research related to prevention of failures and accidents in technological systems. European researchers are invited to join the integrated research group at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and SINTEF Industrial Management, Department of Safety and Reliability in Trondheim, Norway, and take part in research activities covering both basic and applied aspects related to technological, human and organizational factors contributing to failures and accidents. Topics particularly suitable for doctoral training are: safety management with focus on resilient and high reliability organizations (HRO), risk analysis and the use of risk indicators to monitor risk during operation, marine safety, reliability of safety-critical functions, dependable ICT systems and fault tolerance, and information security. NTNU is the national centre for technological education and research within the natural sciences. NTNU and SINTEF, the largest independent research institute in Scandinavia, collaborate closely on a wide range of research fields. SINTEF Industrial Management, Department of Safety and Reliability is the part of SINTEF focusing on accident analysis and prevention. Most of the research is conducted in partnership with the industry. Marie Curie Fellows will join integrated NTNU-SINTEF research teams and have available all services from both institutions, including social services, university courses, computer networks, application software and high quality laboratory facilities and technical assistance.
