Цел на проекта
We offer free positions of PhD research workers with the support of the stay by the EU. The research training for the period of 3 till 9 month is offered to PhD students, who are in their work directly involved in the research of building materials. The training will take place in the scientific milieu of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Brno University of Technology and will be secured by a prominent team of specialists involved in the building materials development. Each fellow should take part in research activities in one of the following branches of new materials development for the building industry. Mostly under utilization of wastes: Ceramics, Concrete (Technology, SCC, Durability, Rehabilitation), Light building materials, Surface protection, Cements, Blended Cements, Non-Cement binders (anhydrite, gypsum), Thermal Insulation, Recycling of building materials, Radiology, Road structures. The young researchers will get the ability to understand the complex problems of the production of new products from wastes. Further the properties, microstructure, of these materials, the methods and techniques applied in the development of new building materials and the verification of their durability with the application of mathematics, chemistry, physics or mechanics. The students can during their work use independently or with the technical personal the devices of special laboratories: physical, radiological, physico - chemical and microstructure laboratory and the laboratory of building materials. Except of the basic and applied research the students can utilize a very close cooperation with practice and they will be led to use the obtained knowledge in individual conditions of companies in a factual cooperation with realizing firms. They will have the opportunity to the evaluation of failures of building materials in structures, to field trips into plants, which produce and utilize wastes.
