Цел на проекта
With a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural perspective in mind, the Facolta di Giuresprudenza de Florence (Dipartimento di teoria et di storia del Diritto), L'EHESS in Paris (Centre d'Etudes des Normes Juridiques), L'Université de Paris X, 1 and the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Estudios de Doctorado en Derecho), are working together to organize a three-year Doctorate research program. For the first year, scholarships of 12 months will be awarded and will be divided into three successive stays of four months in Florence, Paris, and Barcelona. In each of these three cities, students will participate in research seminars, with a requirement of five seminars of 20 hours for each four-month period. The first year will be devoted to a thorough examination of the major methodologies within the European tradition of Law, focusing upon several core questions that will continue to be developed upon throughout the future teaching courses of this program. During this first year, seminars will center upon the historical and comparative contexts of these questions. The second year will be completed in Paris. While returning to the core questions addressed in the first-year seminars, analysis will move to new concepts that are part of more recent legal practices. The third year will be completed in Barcelona and will follow the same principles. During the fourth year, the best students, who will be selected based upon their work, will receive an American scholarship of 3 months to study at the Robbins Collection, University of California, Berkeley. Here they will participate in collective seminars taught by the professors from all of the institutions participating in the program. Level required: Two DEA of law or LS (+ equivalent in Spanish, German and English). Previous study of Latin at high school level or higher. Fluency in French, Spanish and Italian is required.
