Цел на проекта
The Large Conference RANLP-05 is a world-class event dealing with Human Language Technologies and Computational Linguistics, which are hot research issues and important priorities in the multilingual Europe. RANLP-05 belongs to a sequence of excellent bian nual events with a similar name, all of them organised in Bulgaria. The EuroConference RANLP-2001 was evaluated by its participants with a score 81 out of 100, with quality of the project" scored at 19 (out of 20). The selection rate of the conference RAN LP-03 was 28% and a volume of its regular papers will be published by John Benjamins in 2004. RANLP-05 will continue the tradition of offering world-class scientific content within a compact time-table including strong training activities. The three days o f preceding half-day tutorials provide training adopted to the competence of early-stage researchers. The six tutorial lectures, as well as the six invited keynote speakers at the main conference, provide lecturing about advances of hot research topics. Tr aining materials will be disseminated at the tutorials and later uploaded at the conference site as well. The support expected from the EC via the current project is orientated exclusively to the needs of the 26 eligible researchers. Full coverage of their fees is expected and a fragment of their travel and subsistence expences (70%). Attending RANLP-05 is important for junior researchers as this will give them the exclusive opportunities for dense training, contact building, transfer of knowledge, and will ensure their career opportunities. RANLP-05 has a strong international dimension with integration of scientists from the acceding and candidate countries."
